From the Painting Series: Expanding Possibilities -- Landscapes of Oracle, Arizona
This southwestern landscape acrylic painting of Oracle, Arizona features a double rainbow sitting at the base of the brown mountains high above a house tucked away far into the desert landscape. The bold sky is painted in peach, purple, and blue. Prickly pear cactus in the immediate foreground are celebrating this wondrous event and seem to be inviting the viewer to look at the awesome color spectacle in the sky above them.
